Using Interbrand’s methodology, Business Week has unveiled the list of the World’s most valuable brands. The Business Week had given a tough line of criteria to qualify for the list and that includes the company’s at least one third earning should come from outside its home country.
This criterion has helped eliminating big giants such as Visa, Wal-Mart, Mars and CNN. Airlines were kept excluded from the ranking since it was difficult to separate their brands’ impact on sales.
