Black People are the future of music
Hard Rock is the Real Cultural Revolution.
I bless America for Rock and Roll
This is a hilarious print advertisement campaign launched by Greek radio station, Galaxy 92 FM. The campaign aims at amusingly attract people’s attention towards this particular radio station dedicated to music. The campaign has interestingly used few icons from pages of history and those icons had no relation with music and were extremely political. The advertisement has shown Stalin, Mao and Hitler lending their looks to the music industry.
These icons were modified to reflect both the larger image of leaders and styles of pop and rock singers. However, the statement of these leaders are somewhat, irrespective of their leanings, closure to their political agenda, that adds humor to the campaign. Though the idea of the campaign is not fresh as it has been repeatedly used in recent times but the presentation of the advertisement has surely made this campaign appealing.
The punch line of the campaign reads, ‘all music no dogma’, reflecting the hardliner attitude of these leaders. The campaign is created by Lowe, Athens.
