Ford seems to be traveling some extra miles as it has decided to open up itself and its policies for public view. Fords new site, fordboldmoves.com, which has been created specifically for this purpose. The website shows their board meeting discussions where they publicly admit their faults and ask for the public guidance.
Interestingly, Ford has opened up its entire issue for the public view as they discuss not only fuel efficiency problem but it terms of management, labor and other weaknesses.
However, it is yet to see that to what extent this effort help them to uplift the company. On the other hand, sometimes this effort seem to be more dramatized.
