Ford Motors has launched this television advertisement titled ‘Desire’ during the final of Champions League to promote its new Mondeo. The advertisement is focusing on the tempting new model of Mondeo that compels people to dump their old cars in a unique way. The advertisement was ostentatiously shot in 30 different locations in London including famous landmarks such as Trafalgar Square and Tower Bridge. The 90-second advertisement is showing old cars are being lifted by balloons through out the city and the very reason, New Mondea rolls out on the road of London towards the and of the ad.

Though advertisement has not incorporated the product benefit and it seems that the ad was launched to announce the arrival of the new Mondeo while insisting that it would wipe out other cars from the market. Moreover, the scenes of cars being lifted by balloons is not computer generated but real. These light weight cars were just weighing four to five kgs and can float in its own right when filled up entirely with helium.
