This is an interesting and hard-hitting advertisement launched by Dutch Artsen Zonder Grenzen, Doctors Without Borders, to raise awareness about prevailing conditions in Darfur and the work of the organization. The campaign apparently aims at outlining the help organization is providing to the needy people in Darfur. This advertisement is a part of an extensive awareness campaign about their work in Darfur. The advertisement is showing a gun made of medical equipments in order to depict the nature of struggle and on-going fight in Darfur. The war torn territory is really in need of rehabilitation and medical help and these non-profit organizations are the only hope for help in that region.
The advertisement clearly shows that these doctors are fighting with medicines and medical equipment to save affected lives in Drafur. The presentation of the campaign is of course insightful and thought provoking as it illustrates the situation of Darfur, trapped in violence that are taking lives of innocents and the struggle of providing help by the Doctors Without Borders. The punch line of the campaign reads, ‘We still remain fighting in Darfur’. The campaign was created by GREY Amsterdam.
