Cox Enterprise Inc. has finally completed its take over of Trader Publishing Co.’s automobile related publication, which was announced in March this year. Atlanta based Cox will now be in charge of 341 automobile and light truck titles, which rested earlier with Trader Publishing, that also include famous Auto Trader, Auto Mart and Truck trader. These publications enjoy a whopping combined circulation of 3.5 million per week.
Cox will also be in charge of the publication’s companion websites such as AutoMart.com and AutoExtra.com , which receive around 4.2 million unique visitors every month. With the completion of take over Trader Publishing will now be known as Auto Trader Publishing and AutoTrader.com and AutoMart.com will constitute a part of newly formed Cox division called Cox Auto Trader headed by none other than Sanford Schwartz.
