This is a nice ambient advertisement campaign launched by Che magazine for men to promote its ‘short story competition’. The campaign concentrates on highlighting the concept of ‘short story’ by using small notebook and a pen in order to stress that the competition is essentially for curt stories. The ambient campaign included a mini-flyer book that had a short pen inside and information related to the contest. This time around many campaign involving advertising for anything short have constantly used dwarfed sized objects or models to highlight their concept or idea.

However, using it in an ambient medium the campaign has some sort of refreshing elements. The presentation of the campaign is no doubt appealing and effective enough to prompt a person to write a short story. The text of the campaign reads, ‘Short story competition. Write and win 1,750 Euro worth of books.’ The campaign was developed by Duval Guillaume, Antwerp, Belgium.
