The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland wants raw feedback from all. The ads that you hear and see on radio and television now will be attracting criticism from you. Good decisions, (the article only delve on the culture part, spots timing, why BCI should remind you of dangerous randomness of life etc) but the question here is, ads being probably the most watched industry (after moviedom) not sackful, but hoards of complaints definitely will pour in everyday. The bigger the scale of the campaign, you can expect mail boxes getting fuller faster) I wonder who’s going to judge them in any way. Ads are no pure science. There is no formula telling you this is the right answer, or solution. And there is no wrong way to do it. Ads are so much culture specific, value based, its impossible one ad being perceived by hundreds in the same manner. Who’s their to clean up the mess. And how credible and populist that would be?
