To tackle the widespread national school drop out rate, the Ad Council, in conjunction with the U.S Army, is going to launch an advertising campaign called, ‘Boost.’
The promotion will include TV commercials, Radio spots, in school posters, outdoor advertising and internet advertising. The campaign urges parents, coaches, friends and mentors to provide struggling kids a ‘boost’ to help them complete schooling and graduation. The campaign reminds you that ‘boost’ sometimes can be the differentiator between graduation and dropping out.
The high school drop out rate in America is growing at a staggering rate. In every nine seconds, one student drops out of high school.
