To beat around the bush seems to be an accepted norm of creativity. We see many ads with a big tummy and excessive flab of unwanted things. By âunnecessary thingsâ, I mean things which are far away from the message or which do not supplement the message.
But, this spot for Audi Q5, created by Ogilvy & Mather/Tokyo, can be said âslimâ in terms of its ability to convey the message.
The spot called âBicycleâ provides us with a perspective of a bike rider who explores the city in a bright day. She travels literally all the nook and corner of the city at ease. Just as we are immersed in a smooth riding experience, the spot reveals that it’s not the bike doing the work but a teeny little Audi, upon whose roof the bike is resting.
“Agility that conquers the city,” the tagline reads.
