God, religion and miracles. Three inseparable things, if you are speaking in a theosophical way. It seems that The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is not pleased with miracle claims. The advertising watch dog has banned an advertisement for the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG) which featured a testimonial from a woman implying that her son’s lung and heart defects were cured by the church’s holy anointing oil.
The ASA ruled that the implied message discourages people to seek proper medical attention hence the advert should not be used again.
