Amnesty International had launched a comprehensive outdoor advertisement campaign to spread the plights of human right defenders. The campaign aims to convey that the human rights defenders have not been given appropriate free hand to fight for the cause and they have been deprived of freedom of action.
The human right defenders have been depicted staying behind bars symbolizing the way they have been deprived. Moreover, this ad campaign is not that appealing in comparison to other ads of this organization. The text appeared on the photographs reads, ‘In over 50 countries, Human Rights Defenders are deprived of their freedom of action.’ The ad campaign has been designed by TBWA, Paris.
