Basically, sales of sleeping medication was drooping due to the dispersion of news that ‘Ambien users could become ill with binge eating while sleeping ,falling asleep and while driving as well’.

This prompted Sanofi-Aventis to begin an advertising campaign focusing on Ambien Safety, following the tack other rival medications as well had to jump in the same field so as beat the competition.

Where as other sleeping medications, Indiplon and Neurocrine sciences till now have been approved and too are ready to follow the ad campaign tack soon.
