The gorgeous, handsome, rugged and silent Marlboro Man over the years remained absolute favorite for generations. One of my friends told me the other day she still believes that (now pretty grown up ;)) this strong and manly cowboy would protect her from anyone who even thinks of hurting her. The masculine hero was always so Mr. Right for so many of them, universally.
An interesting read here (Via Business Week) about the Texus idol going his way even today in spite of stricter advertising rules and excess excise duties. The brand is still alive and how. That’s truly fascinating. Though not going deep into the smoking issue, I personally am a non smoker and hates cigarette advertising. Just love the mythical icon.
