In recent times, horse mounted police were facing a tough time due the extremely low or no use of horses. Many police forces such West Midlands and Staffordshire have dismantled their horse police on the ground of rising cost.
This latest experiment of Nottinghamshire police of sponsorship scheme has aimed at encouraging business to be involved in the community.
