Some word often strike us like a thunderbolt. In previous posts, we have seen that though the common perception about the supremacy of visuals over the words- a picture is worth a thousand words- is true, the reverse can also happen, and it happens in the case of advertisements with strong, touching and effective copy. This ad for an NGO called Prajwala, developed by Bushtail, Bangalore belongs to this group.
The ad, which voices its concern over prostitution, just consists of a copy with ââbruisesââ all over it.
Job benefits include STDs, cancer, trauma, humiliation, and multiple abortions. Please apply in person.
A prostitute only becomes one when you hire her.
This copy, though in a slight depressing approach, conveys the message.
