Though a little bit late (not something too much of innovation) someone is following Google like model as offline version. It’s Verizon, the New York Based telecom giant will follow result oriented advertising program in the printed good ol Yellow Pages. The moment someone makes a call to the advertised car company (image above) it will pay Verizon accordingly.
Verizon has already pre-tested the ad in December and plans to introduce similar ads in more than 500 yellow page directories by the end of this year. The category can be from a pin to airplane.
eStara Inc. which handles Verizon’s online directory and provides click to call services to many websites will do the call routing.
