Fundacao Dorina Nowill, the Brazilian organization for helping the blind, has recently launched this eccentric television advertisement make people aware about the organization. The main activities of the organization include publishing books in Braille. The objective of the advertisement seems to be fund raising as it describes a world of a blind person in a positive note. The advertisement is showing some fascinating use of Braille to depict usual activities of a city against a black background.

The black background seems to be chosen to pint out blindness while depiction of activities in Braille points out towards normal life of a blind person stressing on the fact their normal life is like a life of general person and is no different. Therefore, the advertisement outlines that if blind cannot see it does not mean that they cannot imagine, as a better fact they do. The text of the ad says, ‘They can imagine. Therefore we want to increase our production of books in Braille.’ The advertisement was created by McCann Erickson.
