Ford Motor Company is all set to launch an integrated advertising campaign featuring the famous Grammy nominated singer Kelis. The advertisement aims at promoting its all new 2007 Ford Edge. The singer has also composed a song for the campaign named, ‘Push it to the Edge’. The song has been composed with a view to emphasize Ford’s bold crossover vehicle in advertisements scheduled to be aired from December 20.
Kelis has been roped in for the urban marketing campaign by Ford on the ground that the target buyer can easily relate to sharp and sophisticated style of the singer.
Moreover, a traditional print advertisement under the name of ‘Shattered’ will serve as a major component of the campaign that is scheduled to be published in major urban publications.
