FilmLover’s gay love-kiss super bowl commercial for Dolce & Gabbana gets a clean chit from ASA. Lots of complaints pour in as the ad spot shows two guys exchanging a kiss on the lips, but the advertising watchdog feels the idea of the ad is not too objectionable and is all right for a family watch. (and can not be banned, also ruled that the ad should not be aired during strictly-meant-for-children content program)…what a paradox…

We did not consider that a kiss between two men automatically made an ad unacceptable for broadcast or that the kiss was in itself grounds for imposing a stricter timing restriction

The idea is tongues entangled should not be seen (wanadoo) or one should not put his hand over other’s mouth (Maxim). Hmm…
