An outdoor ad for Collingwood brothel has successfully pissed the resident off. They have complained about the ad (pic. above) to Advertising Standards Bureau which includes comments like, ‘was blatantly sexual and crass,’ ‘disgraceful and confronting,’ and ‘encouraged sexual aggression in men.’ However, the board had dismissed all the complaints saying that the agency has dealt with sex and sexuality very subtly.
Chief executive of the board Fiona Jolly has said that the bureau actually had received more complaints about advertising for junk food, cars and alcohol than it did for brothels.
