The Japanese authority has recently refused to grant permission to the above shown advertising posters to be placed on Tokyo’s subway. Tokyo’s subway has said the advertising poster is ‘too stimulating’ for youngsters. The ad poster contains a nude photograph of pregnant Britney Spears.
This is a cover photograph of August issue of Harper’s Bazaar and the same cover is scheduled to be repeated in the Japanese edition of Harper’s Bazaar scheduled to be released in October.
The publishers of the magazine wanted to display the poster for a week’s time at a subway station located in central Tokyo. However, the Metro and the publishers have agreed to display the poster but masked below the elbow area of Britney spears with a statement that reads, ‘We apologise for hiding part of a beautiful image of a mother-to-be.’
