World Wildlife Fund (WWF) makes a comparison between 9/11 and 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami through this ad created by DDB Brasil. But the question is â will this comparison make any sense, or, is this just an insensitive one?
The ad sys- The tsunami killed 100 times more people than 9/11
So what? WWF is trying to make awareness among the people about the retaliatory nature of the planet, if we do not treat it properly. But, should they degrade the seriousness of another traumatic incident like 9/11? Every life is precious. Every death causes immense pain and irreparable loses to someone. It is not about numbers.
