Weight training is good for women: Say researchers!

A new study by the researchers has come out stressing on the need of weight training for women. During this study, researchers studied diverse effects of weight training on women’s hormonal system, muscles and on their bones and concluded that indulging in weight training may help women build lean muscles and prevent brittle-bone disease. Therefore, it would not be wrong to say that regular weight training may bring a new ray of hope in the lives of the women with osteoporosis because day-by-day osteoporosis is engulfing more and more women round the world.

According to these researchers, indulgence in weight training stimulate more growth hormone that ultimately helps fighting tissue breakdown, ameliorates metabolic functioning and helps in overcoming stress. So, the earlier assumptions that weight training is meant only for men shatters today; so women, start pumping iron.
