Vitamin pills fail to sharpen eyesight

Eyes are considered as the most precious body part. It is understood that Carrots that has beta carotene help to improve vision. But according to new study beta carotene pills are ineffective to maintain vision loss among older people. Mostly eyesight problem is associated with people aged above sixty years. The condition becomes worse then one starts difficulty in reading, writing, driving and even recognizing faces. In America it affects nearly 10 million people and there is no cure for this.

Earlier the study reveals that beta carotene is helpful to prevent vision loss when it is taken with other vitamins and zinc. Earlier beta carotene is considered to check age-related muscular degeneration in eyes. Other researches show that beta carotene have chance to cause the lung cancer in smokers. So eye doctors have advised smokers concerned about mascular degeneration to find a vitamin regimen without beta carotene. According to Dr. Stuart Fine of the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute, who is not the part of the study said,

This study at least suggests that beta carotene might not be an important component of that (vitamin) formulation.
