WHO: Tobacco-related diseases to escalate, killing 6.4-million people a year by 2015

Tobacco- related diseases including cancer and heart disease will emerge as a major threat to world population, a new report by WHO reveals this. This report further unveils that the possibility is quite high that by the year 2015 these diseases would kill about 6.4- million people per year. According to this report, smoking will kill 50% more people in 2015 than HIV/AIDS comparatively. This report further surmises that by the year 2030, chronic diseases like diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular diseases would be on their peak.
