Survey on parents' health-concerns for children during vacations

National Parent Teacher Association has conducted a survey on the health concern for the parents of children during summer vacations. GlaxoSmithKline funds this survey. According to the survey, there is some health consciousness growing in the mind of parents for their children.

Heat exhaustion
was the top health concern for thirty-five percent of parents. About thirty percent of parents believe that their adolescents should have a summer health visit to doctor. Ninety-two percent of parents want to communicate directly with their children to get a safe summer. The survey revealed that one-third of parents want that their children should go for summer job.
