Kathy Barger at UCSF Medical Center is expecting to get an experimental device to cure hearing loss. She tried hard to find out the solution of hearing loss and invented a bionic ear i.e. a hybrid cochlear implant. It is surgically fixed behind and into ear.
A hybrid is modified to add in only higher frequencies, a general problem occurs in old age. On the other hand, the surgery has some risks too, such as complete hearing loss.
