Step-to-step guide to a blemish free makeup

Beautiful Woman Makeup

Acne problem is common amongst teenagers and adults. The source for acne problem can be either hormonal imbalance or excessive oil secretion. Moreover, acne marks stay longer on the skin and sometimes take years to clear out. However, makeup applied on the face should make it look lighter and natural, rather than making it looks like a heavy layer clumped up on the face. People commonly use extra foundation or concealer to cover up the blemishes. However, the following stepwise guide on covering the blemishes using simple makeup products can make your face look light and beautiful.

Step 1:

Wash the face and neck using a facial cleanser. Make sure to clean oil or dirt from the face. Do not use warm water to wash your face. Cool water helps remove the oil. Dry your skin by dabbing the towel on it and not rubbing it on your face.

Step 2:

Apply a thin layer of moisturizer on your face. It is essential to use water-based moisturizer on the oily skin types. Water based moisturizers get absorbed immediately within the skin. This moisturizer works as a protective layer on the face.

Step 3:

Using a damp soft sponge, remove the excess moisturizer if any. Spread it evenly on the skin, not missing any part.

Step 4:

Squeeze out a small amount of make up on your palm and let the sponge absorb it. Slowly dab the makeup on your face using the sponge. Do not rub. Simply dab the sponge to cover all the areas of the face and neck.

Step 5:

Let it dry. Slowly buff it on your skin using cotton pad. Do not apply pressure while doing this. If you do so, your skin may absorb the foundation and makeup, causing infections or irritation.

Step 6:

Repeat this process for a few more coats. Stop if you think the makeup is getting heavier on the skin. Do not coat the make up to make you look fair. It is applied simply to cover the blemishes. Hence, it should be as lighter as possible. Excessive make up can be removed using wet sponge.

Step 7:

After it has dried up, apply concealor directly on the blemish using a brush. If you have red blemish then, you can use yellow or green base.

Step 8:

Do not rub the brush hard, as it might cause irritation to the blemish. Dab the brush slowly and rub it with a feather touch.

Step 9:

After the concealer is dried, apply translucent facial powder. It helps to keep your skin dry and helps control the oil secretion.

Summary:

Makeup may make you look graceful and beautifully, only if you apply it the right way. These tips will help you achieve the perfect blemish free look.
