Acne problems can bother you even in winter months. Winter acne is a recurring and persistent problem that makes lots of spots appear on your face and can be really distressful. If you do not take care of your facial skin and health then there is a high chance that you will be afflicted by winter acne. The main reasons of winter acne are dry skin and dehydration. The layer of dry skin does not let the oil from sebum glands come out. Germs and dirt inhabit the pores of facial skin and cause pimples or acne. With a little care you can prevent this from happening.

The environment is full of dirt and germs. It is necessary that you clean your face at least thrice a day. When you go out keep a bottle of cleansing milk and some cotton balls with you. Always clean off the dirt and makeup before going to bed. Make sure that you buy only the cream based or hydrating cleansing milk.

The winter air can be unsparing and spiteful. The cold air can make your skin become rough. When the outermost layer of skin becomes dry it cracks. Dirt and germ can enter through these cracks and then cause inflammation. To stop this you will have to use a good quality moisturizer. If your skin is sensitive in nature then you should opt for a gel based moisturizer.
