Renata and Regina Salinas Fierros, the twin sisters conjoined from breast to pelvis have finally gotten separated at Children Hospital, Los Angeles. The chest walls and pelvic regions were needed reconstruction during separation surgery on both the babies.
The conjoined twin babies were born in August this year. The Eighty member medical team was involved in this surgery. The doctors have split the liver and intestines of the babies.
During surgery some part of the small intestine were given to one and most of the large intestine to the other baby. After surgery the babies are stable and under intensive care unit.
