Salt intensifies high blood pressure with hypertension

The low consumption of salt controls the high blood pressure. You may get many more foods with large amount of salts such as soups, cereals, iced up dinners and preserve vegetables. Eating such foods may result in higher blood pressure with hypertension.

According to dietary guidelines, consuming 2,400 milligrams of salt a day, is more than enough. On the other hand, one cup of preserve soup alone consists about 1,000 milligrams of salt. Some healthy foods may contain high amounts of salt some times.

According to the University of Michigan (U-M) Health System experts, people who want to reduce salt in diet will have to trim down the eating habits of processed foods. Do read carefully the food labels to know salt content and eat fresh foods only. So if you are now conscious for salt amount in food items, just avoid frozen and processed food sand go for steamed items only.
