Red Cross seeks $300 million for HIV care in Africa!

Southern Africa has become the nucleus of the HIV positive patients because there are 12 million HIV positive people alone in Southern Africa and according to an estimate every day, about 8,000 people die of AIDS in Southern Africa, which is a tragic trend.

Expressing its deep concern to trammel the spread of HIV virus in Southern Africa and to provide medication to the HIV positive people the International Red Cross federation has appealed to have $300 million to strengthen its AIDS/HIV program in Southern Africa. The interesting thing is that this program of International Red Cross federation aims at reaching 250,000 patients in rural villages, hard-hit by the epidemic.

I think this is a good move stirred up by International Red Cross federation and world community should come forward to participate in this noble cause.
