Cancer in childhood is not less than a nightmare but treating the cancer of children with radiation therapy may turn them more vulnerable to brain tumor. The disclosure of this new finding has come to light through a new data from the Childhood Cancer Survivor.
Gliomas and meningiomas are two most commom types of cancer in children and the exposure to radiation therapy to treat such cancers bumps up the chances of developing tumors in future in such children.
