Diet Plan

Rave Diet was introduced by Mike Anderson, a famous filmmaker, and author. The diet is all about gaining and sustaining health by avoiding a few categories of foods. The diet has been given the name in the following manner; Refined foods, Animal foods, Veggie oil, and no Exceptions. These are the types of foods to avoid when you are on the Rave Diet.

It is important to know what you are allowed to eat to be successful on any diet. The Rave Diet allows dieters to construct their diet menu on the basis of plant-based foods, whole foods, vegetables, legumes and grains.

Fruits  They make up a major part of this diet. You are allowed to have most of the fruits such as banana, strawberry, and grapes. You must consume sweet fruits in a lesser amount. Non-sweet fruits are ideal to eat. These fruits include okra, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, squash, and tomatoes.

Vegetables They provide a lot of nutrition to the dieter’s body. You must choose organically grown veggies such as asparagus, carrots, lettuce, onions, spinach, mushrooms, cauliflower, cabbage, artichoke, and radishes. Avoid eating white potatoes. You can snack on red and yellow potatoes.

Grain  Fiber is an excellent element to include in this diet. Grains contain vitamin B, magnesium, and iron. You can include unrefined whole grains to prepare meals in this diet. Buckwheat, oatmeal, wild rice, millet, barley, and brown rice can be consumed in abundance. You are also allowed to have whole-wheat pasta and bread.

Legumes They are rich in fiber, protein, and vitamins. You can consume foods like lentils, peas and beans like red, black, and pinto beans. Best examples of legumes are soy nuts, lima beans, peanuts, seeds, fava beans, and edamame.

Rave Diet recommends dieters to eat raw foods rather than cooked foods. Half of the daily intake must come from uncooked foods.
