Protect your skin with green leafy vegetables!

If you want to keep skin cancer at an arm’s length then along with wearing hat and using sunscreen start eating more leafy vegetables too, says a new study.

Before promulgating this conclusion, researchers went through an 11-year old study that covered about 1,000 people and found that those who ate at least three serves of green leafy vegetables a week, their chances of skin cancer reduced to 55 percent. Researchers believe that it can be due the nutrients found in leafy vegetables that the chances of skin cancer reduce gradually.

However, researchers are yet finding it difficult to reveal the reason that how leafy vegetables like spinach, reduce the chances of skin cancer.

This is really a wonderful divulgence because in the recent years world has seen a horrendous increase in the cases of skin cancer. Researches conducted earlier too have established leafy vegetables as healthy food and this study gives us another reason to add more leafy vegetables to our daily diet.
