Sharjah Corniche Day Care Surgery Centre Commences Operations in Sharjah
Sharjah Corniche Hospital, a day care surgery centre, has commenced operations at Buhaira Corniche in Sharjah. The one-day procedures performed at the hospital include general laparoscopic, orthopaedic, urological, gynaecological, ENT and plastic surgeries. The hospital is supported by a diagnostic centre equipped with advanced facilities for CT, Mammogram, X-ray and other requirements. It also provides comprehensive laboratory services. The facility will utilise the services of surgeons from the International Institute of Ambulatory Surgery Hospital, Paris, who will travel from France regularly to provide treatment at the centre.
“Healthcare has witnessed a major shift in the region; escalating costs and an increasingly hectic lifestyle have necessitated that lengthy surgical procedures be replaced with short yet safe and effective procedures. Sharjah Corniche Hospital aims to bring the global best in day care surgery to the region,” said Dr. Mahesh Vidhani, MD Sharjah Corniche Hospital.
