Medication helps reduce Endometriosis Pain

Women with Endometriosis usually go through severe pain. When uterus tissues find outside the uterine wall or on the ovaries, fallopian tubes and ligaments around the uterus, it causes ruthless pain. Medication may control this type of pain.

According to the Endometriosis Association, ibuprofen, aspirin and acetaminophen may help to reduce the pain. The other ways to curb the pain are oral contraceptives and hormonal treatments. Surgery is an option in some cases i.e. either removal or destroying the extra tissue outside the uterus. The hysterectomy can also be helpful in complex stage of the problem.
