Lemon detox diet

Lemon Detox Diet is also known as Master Cleanse Diet, Maple Syrup Diet and Lemon Cleanse Diet. The diet is simple to follow and easy to maintain. You don’t need to put any extra effort while being on this diet. The diet won’t cost you much as all the required ingredients are inexpensive.

List of Basic Ingredients

  • Lemon
  • Salt
  • Pure Maple Syrup
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Water
  • Peppermint Tea

Most people use detox formula to cleanse their body for weight loss. However, there are numerous other health benefits attached to this formula. Removing impurities and toxins from gall bladder, colon and liver is the primary function of this diet. The best part is that you are able to see a significant reduction in cravings for foods.

The diet is a 10day program. You are recommended to avoid driving, fight food craving, stay at home and go to the bathroom whenever you feel necessary because of the increased pressure on bowl and bladder.

Take 1gallon water, 4-5 lemons’ juice and maple syrup. You may put two tablespoons lemon juice and maple syrup in a glass. Now, you need to add a dash of cayenne pepper. Stir the mixture for two minutes. The next thing to do is to add 8ounces of water.

Drinking 8glasses of this beverage for 10days is the basic activity to perform. It is recommended to try drinking whole gallon of water in 1day, mixed with juice of lemon just like peppermint tea to cure nausea and addition of salt in water.

Dieter may feel weakness, nausea and dizziness while following this diet. People with blood sugar issues are recommended to stay away from this diet.

When you are finished with the diet, you may include yogurt, fruits, vegetables and acidophilus drinks in your daily diet. Gradually, you are recommended to add solid foods. Don’t put too much stress on your digestive system at once.
