Losing weight is one of the most hectic and effort demanding tasks. Being conscious and careful in what you eat is sometimes frustrating. There are numerous diets for weight loss. 1000 Calorie Diet is one of the most prevailing diets in the current era. The diet is effective and results producing.

1000 Calorie Diet

The diet explains itself with its name. You are allowed to consume 1000 calories per day only. When you follow such a strict regime, you need to make sure you eat the right foods to gain 1000 calories during the day to gain required nutrition. The diet can lead to a deficiency of essential nutrients because you are only allowed to consume 1000 calories a day.

Here is a 2 Day Sample Meal Plan:

Day 1

  • Breakfast It should contain chopped banana and cereal along with skimmed milk.
  • Snack Have 1 cup of skimmed milk or yogurt along strawberries.
  • Lunch Eat 2 slices from whole wheat bread along with 3oz of lean beef or ham with lettuce, cucumber, and tomato salad along with apple and olives.
  • Snack Eat a small apple along with cottage cheese.
  • Dinner You may stuff tortilla along with half cup mashed beans, a quarter cup of rice and shredded lettuce.  You can have a cup of strawberries or grapes before you go to bed.

Day 2

  • Breakfast – Eat oat bran. You may have 1teaspoon cinnamon, 1cup skimmed milk, raisins and chopped banana in the oat bran along honey.
  • Snack – Handful of nuts along raisins.
  • Lunch – Scrambled eggs along whole wheat toast is the best lunch option. Add strong cheese to top the toast.
  • Dinner – You may chop lettuce along 6 cherry tomatoes, half cup sliced green bell pepper, half avocado, 2oz chopped chicken and 6 spring onions. You may top it with balsamic vinegar, extra virgin oil and dried basil.

Dieters can drink herbal tea and other non-caloric beverages throughout the day.
