A criminal case has been registered against Union Health Minister, Anbumani Ramadoss and his father Dr. S Ramadoss. They have been charged with the murder of an assistant of Tamilnadu Minister C Ve Shanmugam, in Tindivanam. The incident took place May 8th, 2006.
An armed gang was making an attack on Shanmugam’s life and eventually stabbed his aide Muruganandam. Shanmugam lodged complain making Dr.Ramadoss as prime accused and the health Minister A. Ramadoss as second accused.
They were charged under Sections 147, 148, 323, 324, 307, 506(II) and 120(b) of the Indian Penal Code. But so far, the police did not arrest any of the accused.
