Governments are paying for more funds to create the new drugs. According to a report, there should be more spending on it to fight diseases in developing nations.
Governments and public contribute about 84.2 percent of fundamental research budget for health, all over the world. Industry sector contributes only 12 per cent to these research and 3.8 per cent is funded by private non-profit sources. The report asks for more funding in developing nations to fight the diseases.
90 per cent of curable diseases do find in these nations with only10 percent of resource for health research. The report stated that governments should do more because the existing rate of funding for the health and medical research is not enough.
