Don't gain weight while quitting smoking

A habit cannot be destroyed. It can only change to other form. The body digests foods always whether you are smoking or not. The chemicals in the tobacco don’t play any role in the digestion. So, be short of of the tobacco will not cause the weight gain directly. Actually the lack of a positive habit causes the need for extra food.

You need 10 habits to fill the gap or one habit you can do 10 times if u smoke 10 times a day. You can choose the right replacement habits.

Brad Isaac put few ideas which he used to help others to quit smoking:

1) Just keep something like toothpicks or straws on your desk where you used to keep your cigarettes. Pick up one of those when the insist to smoke hits you.

2) Keep place gum or toothpicks even in an unfilled cigarette pack with you.

3) Drink some water when u feel hungry.

4) Have an apple or pear between your meals.

5) Just replace the routine of going outside during normal smoking time.

6) Slowly replace irritating side effect periods with deep relaxation.

7) Have more regular and smaller meals.

8) Be calm and patient with yourself.
