Diabetes is such a disease that doesn’t come alone but several other health problems also come flocking with it and among such health problems, sexual dysfunction is the most common. However, using drugs like Viagra for overcoming sexual dysfunctional problems is not a bad idea.
This fact became known after a new study, which studied the effect of several types of phosphodiesterase type, 5 (PDE-5) inhibitors, a drug category that includes Viagra, Levitra and Cialis, on about 1,759 diabetic men with sexual dysfunction and declared it quite safe for such patients. Interestingly, such patients with sexual dysfunction experienced 26.7 percent more “successful intercourse attempts” compared to placebo groups.
However, some of these patients experienced side effects such as headache, upper respiratory tract complaints and flu-like symptoms but according to experts, these side effects do not pave way for serious threat, as they are temporary.
So, it means there is great help available for diabetics, which they should not hang back from availing.
