Diet for men

Men and women are different in every manner. The nutritional need of men is different from women. There are several favorite foods among men that are unhealthy to eat. Reducing the intake of alcohol and smoking should be the first priority. Diet for Men is not about a single food. The diet is based on few healthy foods that are able to deliver health benefits to men's body. Healthy lifestyle is the key to well being.

Oysters – Having oysters daily will allow your body to receive adequate amount of zinc. It also proves beneficial for male reproductive system and increased sperm amount. You can have recommended dose of 11mg per day by consuming lean beef, legumes, shellfish or lean pork.

Bananas – It is a quick source of immense energy gain. Bananas are rich in potassium. Male body requires potassium to perform numerous functions and controls such as heartbeat, blood pressure and regulation of nerves.

Fatty Fish – Diet for men is incomplete without inclusion of omega 3 fatty acids and healthy fat. These elements help in decreasing risk of prostate cancer, improving immune system and keeping blood circulation stable. Fatty fish also contains vitamin D.

Broccoli – It contains vitamin C, potassium and phytochemical. Broccoli acts as an anti-cancer food for males. You can go for cabbage, bok choy, Brussels sprouts or cauliflower if you don't like broccoli.

Whole Grains – Diet rich in vitamins, fiber and mineral is extremely healthy for heart. Whole grains are helpful in building muscle mass. Barley and oatmeal contain high volume of vitamin B.

Cherries and Berries – All kinds of cherries and berries are best fruits to eat. They contain flavonoids that are health protecting. Berries have more than 4000 antioxidant properties. You may have 5 servings of berries or cherries per day. These fruits keep your brain healthy.

Orange-Red Vegetables
– Beta Carotene and Vitamin C are present in abundance in all orange-red vegetables. Dark green leafy vegetables can also be a part of this diet when you are considering different vegetables to include in your diet.
