Dating before teenage linked to smoking: Study

Children who start dating before their teenage are more likely to start smoking. Bringing out this finding more prominently Robert West, a professor of health psychology at University College London says, ‘Kids who start dating early, about 11 or 12, are two to three time more likely to take up smoking by the time they reach 16.’

A five-year long survey that covered about 2,000 British children has come forward revealing this.

Apparently, preteen daters want to act and showoff that they’re now grownups and pick up the habit, which they see elders doing.
