The diet has two types of variations. The first variation allows you to consume 900 calories per day whereas the second variation allows the dieters to have an intake of 1400 calories daily.

The 900 calorie intake variation enables the dieter to lose 6 – 9 pounds per 2 weeks. On the other hand, you are able to lose 9 -11 pounds per month while following the second variation of the Cohen Diet. 900 calorie -variation is a quick weight loss remedy whereas 1400 calorie variation is a balanced diet formula.

Dieters are recommended to stick with the diet for only a month. You must decide which variation is suitable for you. Cohen Diet is a formula based on consuming a lesser amount of processed foods because they contain unhealthy fats and plenty of carbs. Eating nutritious and healthy foods such as fruits and veggies must be the basic aim of dieters when following this diet.

Foods to Eat in Cohen Diet

You are the manager of your diet. It’s in your hands to eat within the guidelines or disobey the rules of the diet.

Eating sugary foods, protein, and fiber in one meal is a good option. Consuming veggies and fruits in every eating is considered a wise choice. Sugary drinks, especially alcohol and beer are banned for the dieters.
Natural yogurt is good to include. Lean meats must be given priority over other forms of meat. You may substitute cheese with eggs or yogurt. The best way to consume veggies is to have 1 serving of soup daily.
