The diet is effective yet simple to understand and implement. The best part is that it is quick in showing weight loss results. Cabbage is the main item in this diet which is used to make different meals. Cabbage has extraordinary cleansing power which makes this food highly beneficial for humans.

You can have other vegetables, fruits, some meat, and rice on varying days while being on this diet. The main meal to consume in this diet is Cabbage Soup. You can make this soup in several different ways by adding your favorite ingredients.

Pick half head of cabbage, some chicken broth or stock, onions, bell peppers, celery and two cans of tomatoes. You may add these vegetables according to your likings. You can add the spices of your choice to make the soup more delicious. With regular consumption of this soup, you can lose up to 10 pounds in 1 week. This is quite a huge success for an individual who is looking to lose weight.

You must have an intake of at least 4 glasses of water/day. The diet works on the principle of being low caloric and eating foods that belong to the sources which are low in fat and high in fiber.

Day 1 Excluding bananas, you are allowed to eat all kinds of fruits on the beginning day of this diet. You may have unsweetened tea, cranberry juice and lots of water along with cabbage soup.

Day 2  On the 2nd day, you are allowed to eat all types of vegetables along cabbage soup. You are not allowed to eat any fruit on this day. You may have baked potato in dinner.

Day 3 On this day, you are allowed to eat the same soup with fruits and veggies. No baked potato on the 3rd day.

Day 4  Have the regular cabbage soup on this day along with skim milk and bananas. You can eat up to 6 bananas and drink 3 glasses of skim milk to nourish your body.

Day 5
  You can eat up to 20 ounces of beef along 6 fresh tomatoes on the 6th day of the diet. You may have the regular soup along 8 glasses of water consumption in the whole day to get rid of uric acid from the body.

On this day, you are recommended to have the soup twice. You can substitute fish or broiled chicken for beef if you want. Don’t eat 2 different types of meat. Chose 1 meat and eat up to 20 ounces only.

Day 6
  You can have vegetables and meat along with soup. Choose one meat to go with the veggies. Don’t select high starch vegetables.     Potatoes, yams, and carrots should remain out of your selection panel.

Day 7 Have cabbage soup. You can make a new addition to your diet on 7th day. Eat brown rice as much as you like along unsweetened fruit juice and vegetables.
