Britain is likely to see more cancer victims

Cancer seems to be the latest problem in Britain. With a lot of Brits sunbathing and smoking, number of cancer patients are on the rise. The cancer time bomb is supposed to explode within 2020 as the cancer situation gets critical.

It has been reported that about 299,000 cases of cancer are currently being diagnosed. The number has skyrocketed from the year 2001. Back then, it was about 224,000! I think that’s a pretty steep rise in number of cancer patients. Although most of these cancers can be prevented, the English do very little in order to prevent them.

Compared to other European countries, the rate of improvement is still pretty low in Britain. In an effort to improve the public health, authorities will ban cigarette vending machines, and even look out for folks who are sunbathing too much. Sun bathing is a recipe for skin cancer while, cigarettes fuel lung cancer.

From now on the tobacco commercials will probably be restricted and minimized. Cancer units throughout the country will be updated. Health authorities will make sure that these units have all the stuff that they need to prevent cancer. More funds are going towards cancer care in Britain than ever.
