Brian training keeps mind sharp!

Memory loss after a particular age is considered normal but now, as per a new study, we can keep it sharp and intact by indulging in works that require mental acumen.

Despite the fact that researchers have been working on this from years, we’ll know that this organ sitting right on top of our moving machine demand constant activity to remain in shape. Brain training exercises, including crossword puzzles, computer games, etc. have shown quite positive results to this effect.

The above fact holds true not only in the case our friends with grey hairs, but for all of us because several studies conducted earlier have also uncovered numerous positive effects of indulging in works that require intellectual skills. For instance, many examples have come out proving that playing video games, which is also an intellectual work, are grandma’s fountain of youth.

Moreover, such video games have also entered the market, which require physical work as well, helping us staying away from obesity. In this series, I recall name of a video game called, ‘Dance Dance Revolution’, which researchers had proved was actually improving heart health and fitness of the kids.

So, if you want to keep Alzheimer’s, dementia and other mental and physical diseases away forever, indulge in more and more brain teasing activities. However, one question remains that with age as brain cells stop building up further, how far one can train the dying brain and expect the same sharpness. Of course, this can’t be possible, but, at least by applying these proven methods we can carry it as far as we can and make our dream of a healthy live a reality.

So, what you’re thinking, pick up your PS3 and go on!
